Getting there. The strategy of the bridge is quite utilitarian and conventionalised on this one - ie a bridge instead of bridging architecture. So make sure you sell the "shell" as an extension or growth to the existing and not just another building that tacks onto the side of an existing one. Think Norman Fosters British Museum or Reichstag where the extension highlights / frames / works with / enhances the existing etc.
